Painting Mirror Frames with Rabia

Rabia makes beautiful traditional Chefchaouen designs on wooden mirror frames. He is excellent at helping tourists work through making their own painted mirror frames with him in an experience that will be memorable and enjoyable.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You can expect Rabia to meet you in the Old City near the entrance called “Bab Souq” with a translator and take you to his shop. Rabia will give you a little instruction about what you will do together and some of his story. You will pay Rabia and the translator for they work upon arrival. You can expect this experience to take about 2 hours.

MEET the Artist

Rabia is a kind man who loves what he does. He is self taught and began making these traditional handprinted wooden mirrors later in his life. Now he has made a profession of it and supports his family through his Art.
